God Mode was once a cheat code or well a mode we used for invincibility and sometimes some other great godlike abilities that make us awesome in video games. Well, now Atlus is taking it a whole new level making a third person shooter called God Mode. The studio Saber Interactive under Atlus will be developing God Mode as a digital release for consoles and PC to be released in early 2013.. It'll supposedly be priced at $10 and guess what, it's a four person cooperative shooter.
God Mode puts you in the role of a descendant of a god and guess what, you've been exiled to a maze to try and get your godly powers back. In order to get them back, you'll have to fight through maze after maze dealing with skeletons, ghost mages, ogres, and more.
The cool thing which I learned from Kotaku is that at the beginning of every level, there's a random modifier that kicks in. It'll either give you something nice, something funny, or curse you. It can be enemy blood replaced by gold, all enemies wearing party hats, and just a bunch of random stuff. All to either make you laugh or just change up your experience every time.
