Back in August Paul Meegan stepped down from his president position over at Lucas Arts. It was questionable whether he would follow Clint Hocking, another employee from Lucas Arts that quit and joined up with Valve. But now three months later we've got word from Paul Meegan on where he's decided to join. After working with Epic back in 2006 in creating Epic Games China, Meegan is back now to be the vice president of product development at Epic Games.
"I’m really happy to be back in the Epic family and working with some of the best developers in the industry," Meegan says. "Epic has demonstrated success in AAA PC and console games, mobile entertainment and the engine technology business. Epic is well-positioned to grow and thrive in the years ahead. The company is stepping up its game across the board, and I’m honored to be a part of that process."
After Cliff Bleszinski left Epic, it's nice to see someone new come into play.
